Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), also known as butylhydroxytoluene, chemically a derivative of phenol, useful for its antioxidant properties. BHT has a certain protecting effects against the heated oxidation of the natural rubber and synthetic rubbers, such as buthlbenzene,butylnitrile ect.
