Methylisothiazolinone (2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one ) is a broad-spectrum bactericidal preservative that effectively kills algae, bacteria and fungi. The active single agent can be widely used in industrial cooling water, oil field back water, paper industry, pipelines, paints, paints, rubber and cosmetics, photographic film and detergents industries.
