Function:

1. Crosile-172 is used to make insulation and sheath materials of wire and cable by crosslinking polyethylene. Vinyltriethoxysilane is an important crosslinking agent for crosslinking polyethylene. Compared with the conventional peroxide crosslinking and radiation crosslinking, the crosslinking process has the advantages of simple equipment, less investment, easy control, wide range of polyethylene density, suitable for the production of fan-shaped core with special shape, and high extrusion speed.

2. Due to its excellent electrical properties, good heat resistance and stress cracking resistance, silane crosslinking XLDPE has been widely used in the manufacture of wire and cable insulation and sheath materials.

3. It is mainly used for the insulation of light cable, computer cable, weak current product wire, heat-resistant fire wire, household electrical hot line, or coaxial flexible core used for internal wiring of TV set.

4. It is a very favorable material to prevent insulator deformation during welding and high frequency property deterioration caused by thermal deformation of electrical insulator. It can also be used in submarine communication cable, long distance symmetrical high frequency communication cable, control cable, etc.

5.The reaction of silane grafted polyethylene to form a cosslinked or vulcanized polyethylene uses water to form the crossinks. This technology is widely used around the world for commercial applications in wire and cable insulation, tubing, and other similar uses.
