Sodium coco-sulfate Sodium coco-sulfate or SCS is an anionic surfactant obtained by sulfonation of fatty acids from coconut. It comes in the form of a solid widely used as a base for solid shampoos. It is authorized in organic. For its preparation it is recommended to heat the SCS with a little water so that it mixes well with the other ingredients. Mix until you get a homogeneous mass and pour into molds.

Application

1. Cleaning Agent: Helps keep a clean surface. 2. Emulsifying agent: Promotes the formation of intimate mixtures between immiscible liquids by modifying the interfacial tension(water and oil) 3. Surfactant: Reduces the surface tension of cosmetics and contributes to the uniform distribution of the product during its use. This ingredient is present in 1.31% of cosmetics.
