Product Description

It is a scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for boilers and heat exchangers, a complexing agent for cyanide-free plating, a chelating agent for soap, and a cleaning agent for metal and non-metal. As a water treatment agent, HEDP has stable structure and is not easy to hydrolyze. The effect of corrosion and scale inhibition is good. HEDP is a cathode corrosion inhibitor, and the corrosion inhibition rate is about 4 times higher than that of inorganic polyphosphate. Iron ion in water has obvious influence on the corrosion inhibition effect of HEDP. When the iron ion concentration is higher than 3mg/L, the corrosion inhibition effect of HEDP decreases exponentially with the increase of iron ion concentration. HEDP has synergistic effect with other corrosion inhibitors and scale inhibitors, such as chromate, polyphosphate, molybdate, silicate, nitrite, zinc salt, polycarboxylate and their derivatives, and can improve the efficacy. The dosage is low, and the dose used in the compound formula is generally 2~5mg/L.
