Green with flash crystals. Soluble in water, very soluble in ethanol, all in blue-green. The dye is yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid and turns dark orange after dilution; it is orange in concentrated nitric acid and orange-brown after dilution; sodium hydroxide is added to the aqueous solution to produce a white precipitate with green light. Dyeing at high temperature (120 ° C), the color does not change. Dye fastness on acrylic fibers 4-5.
