Eastman cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB-551-0.01) is a kind of cellulose ester with high buyl-group content and low viscosity(ASTMA method) These two characteristics greatly affect its solubility and miscibility. EastmanCAB-551-0.01 is soluble in monomers such as styrene and methyl methacrylate, which is more easily soluble in aliphatic and aromatic diluents than high viscosity products. Cab-551-0.01 is soluble in alcohol/aromatic mixtures, which undoubtedly has a great deal of experience It has good miscibility with many coatings resins.
