Application
1. DEG Mainly used as a gas dehydrating agent and aromatic extraction solvent. It is also used as a solvent for cellulose nitrate, resins, oils, printing inks, etc., as a softener and finishing agent for textiles, and as a means of extracting coumarone and ninhydrin from coal tar.
