Product Description

Dichloropropane (DCP), molecular formula c3h6cl2. Molecular weight: 112.99. There are two common isomers: 1,2-dichloropropane (DCP) and 1,3-dichloropropane. They are colorless and transparent flammable liquids with a taste like ethanol. Insoluble in water, easily soluble in acetone, ether and most other organic solvents. Allyl chloride can be obtained by heating in alkaline solution. In zinc powder, 1,2-dichloropropane is dechlorinated to obtain propylene, and 1,3-dichloropropane is dechlorinated to obtain cyclopropane.

Applicaiton

Dichloropropane is mainly used for paints and inks, for preparing paints, inks, diluents and PVC adhesives. It is an excellent organic solvent and can replace the relevant uses of xylene and other benzene. It is used to make benzene free banana water, Tiana water, polyamine ester diluents, etc. it is soluble in benzene, ketones, esters and other organic solvents.Dichloropropane can be used for fumigation of stored grain and is generally mixed with other fumigants. Use 20 ~ 30ml / m2d-d mixture to fumigate soil to kill nematodes, needle worms and beetle larvae.DCP has a wide range of uses. DCP can prepare a variety of important chemical products, which are low toxic and environmentally friendly.
