It can also be used as fiber wetting agent, pesticide dispersant, resin plasticizer and organic synthesis intermediate. A reagent for the determination of iron and molybdenum. It is an auxiliary solvent to improve emulsifying property and dissolve mineral oil in soap. It is also an excellent solvent. It is also an excellent surfactant, which can remove oil dirt on metal, fabric, glass, plastic and other surfaces.
