1.Formula :K2HPO4 2.Formula wt :174.18 3.CAS: [7758-11-4] 4.Colorless or white granular powder, crystals or masses; deliquescent substance. Easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. PH 8.7-9.4 of 1% aqueous solution.
Dipotassium phosphate is an effective buffering agent and sequesterant for a variety of uses functioning as a balancing agent. DKP Dipotassium phosphate when used as a food additive or preservative is highly effective in preventing coagulation, and is commonly used in the non-dairy creamer market as a buffering agent.
