Application:

Polytetrahydrofuran is mainly used as the soft segment of block polyurethane or block polyether polyester. 1. Block polyurethane rubber made from polytetrahydrofuran with an average molecular weight of 1000, can be used as tires, transmission belts, gaskets, etc.; can also be used for coatings, artificial leather, films, etc. The prepared block polyether polyester is a thermoplastic elastomer. 2. Polytetrahydrofuran with an average molecular weight of 2000 can be used to make polyurethane elastic fibers. 3. In 2008, it was reported that block polyurethane made of polytetrahydrofuran has good anticoagulant properties and can be used as medical polymer materials.
